Hi There,

My name is Ryan Kalmbach and I live currently in Colorado. This blog site is mainly just a site for me to get out my thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Long story short, I had a friend named Taylor Blanton. Taylor passed away back in June, 2025 from a long battle with Heart Cancer. Taylor was a very close, personal friend of mine and I miss him dearly, but his writings of his journey with cancer under nurseturnedpatient8.com inspired me to compose my own blog to document my life and my feelings through the navigation of it all. I hope these blog posts speak to you, encourage you, and most importantly inspire you to do something new in your life you may have not thought you’d ever do on your own.
